Coffee or tea?

The coffee call
Riding the bullet train
For the morning paper
Like the fire in the stairwell
Looking for right stage exits
Bedroom firelights dancing
With urgency rising
Cornered shadows dying
For sunlight to yawn louder
They burn butterless toast
With sugar on the side
But then I drink tea instead.

Hazelnut

For the most part, I feel like this girl here, Hazel Tellington. You can find her at Girls With Slingshots.

Minus the fact that she has a major addiction to alcohol, I feel like her sometimes.

English major, works, oh wait, worked for a newspaper, writes and hey, our names are quite similar.

I relate to her once looking for love phase. And yet, at the same time, to how much she is a closet romantic - nonchalant on the outside, an overload of poetry at heart. Oh, and that she is a reluctant pervert - filthy-minded yet living life so (supposedly) prim.

And yes, and that she has a love-hate relationship with her not-so-generous boobs.

Ask Me

I somehow came across this site which allows you to ask a person anything you want, and you can either stay anonymous or announce yourself as the person who asked.

I thought this was pretty cool because of two main things; the first being the fact that I love filling in forms and questionnaires. And the second would be because it would be interesting to see what people would like to know about me, or would want my opinion on. And they have the freedom on whether they want to make themselves known as the asker, or be blissfully anonymous as I find the words to answer the question, not knowing by whom it was posed.

Of course, it goes without saying that I will answer the best I can, as long as the questions are reasonable and answerable. And in the even any sensitive and/or candid questions be asked, I would answer tactfully, and would give a non-answer if need be.

But go ahead. Don't let that stop you. Let's see what you've got for me.

Dyslexia

I was a bright child, my mom used to tell me. Ever inquisitive, loved IQ-related puzzles and toys and solved them fast, a reader, and observant. But there were some things I took a while to catch up on. I was late in being able to tell time. I had trouble remembering left from right. Mathematics was a pain, cos it takes me forever to understand a concept (takes months), and often, I would come up with a different way of calculating which gave me correct answers, but round-about, complicated and not accepted in exams. This and many other things.

These were just passed off as just some things that I was weak at; because in different areas I learned superbly fast and was top of the class, or understood better than others. After all, we all have strengths and weaknesses, so no one can possibly be mad at me or anyone else to be not good at everything.

There were other oddities about me that people used to point out, but I never quite took them to be anything else but just a quirk of character. I suffer from Spoonerism. I hold a pen at an odd angle and grip (my cousin once sat me down and tried to get me to hold the pen the way that everyone else does and is more "comfortable". I tried, couldn't, and got so frustrated I cried cos I didn't see what was so wrong with the way I write--It was comfortable to me). It took quite some time for me to understand how to tie my shoes. I understood and learned how to spell quite late (thankfully later I mastered it, and am a school spelling bee champion). I tend to daydream alot and often.

Along with that, I found that there are many things about myself that happened too often. Like problems with depth perception, reading a passage but skip a line or reread the same line, see movements at the corner of my eye and lots of other things. But I never mentioned any of this as I always thought it was not unusual. I was sure that any other person could have this problem.

One time, though, Ash and I were playing Inspector Parker on his laptop. I've never played that game so he was teaching me how, and then let me play a few rounds on my own. He noticed that I could not assess the puzzle before me just by looking at it. I would have to sort of "read out loud" that this is left, and this is right, or this is 2 boxes away and this is 3 boxes down and what not. So he decided to mess with me and ruin my concentration. When I was going on about this being left and that being right, he would "correct" me and told left is right and right is left. I blindly followed, not noticing that it was wrong. And if he pointed to the left and said right, I would follow too. It took me awhile to notice the discrepancy and readjust my thoughts to think that right is right and left is left. We were laughing so hard, and he playfully and lovingly patted me on the head and said I was "cacat" :p

Part of me that night realized that--while all this while I had a problem with direction, but always thought of it as a slip of the tongue--what I had was a condition. Dyslexia came into mind, and it sorta made sense, because when I thought back to my childhood, there were symptoms. It's just that I never said anything about it therefore or complained about it therefore it was not apparent.

I went online and looked for symptoms of dyslexia, and there it was. As it turns out, all those things I used to have all pointed to me being dyslexic. But my parents or anyone never noticed because: a) they're not apparent, b) they could easily be thought as a lack of judgment/slip of tongue/miscommunication/etc, c) I never complained about any of this symptoms, and d) nothing pointed out to the common dyslexic symptoms.

According to symptoms listed on this site, these are the ones I have, which are signs of dyslexia:

General
  • Appears bright, highly intelligent, and articulate but unable to read, write, or spell at grade level.
  • High in IQ, yet may not test well academically; tests well orally, but not written.
  • Feels dumb; has poor self-esteem; hides or covers up weaknesses with ingenious compensatory strategies; easily frustrated and emotional about school reading or testing.
  • Seems to "Zone out" or daydream often; gets lost easily or loses track of time.
  • Learns best through hands-on experience, demonstrations, experimentation, observation, and visual aids.
Vision, Reading, and Spelling
  • Complains of dizziness, headaches or stomach aches while reading.
  • Confused by letters, numbers, words, sequences, or verbal explanations.
  • Reading or writing shows repetitions, additions, transpositions, omissions, substitutions, and reversals in letters, numbers and/or words.
  • Complains of feeling or seeing non-existent movement while reading, writing, or copying.
  • Seems to have difficulty with vision, yet eye exams don't reveal a problem.
  • Extremely keen sighted and observant, or lacks depth perception and peripheral vision.
  • Reads and rereads with little comprehension.
Hearing and Speech
  • Has extended hearing; hears things not said or apparent to others; easily distracted by sounds.
Writing and Motor Skills
  • Trouble with writing or copying; pencil grip is unusual; handwriting varies or is illegible.
  • Clumsy, uncoordinated, poor at ball or team sports; difficulties with fine and/or gross motor skills and tasks; prone to motion-sickness.
  • Can be ambidextrous, and often confuses left/right, over/under.
Math and Time Management
  • Has difficulty telling time, managing time, learning sequenced information or tasks, or being on time.
  • Computing math shows dependence on finger counting and other tricks; knows answers, but can't do it on paper.
  • Can do arithmetic, but fails word problems; cannot grasp algebra or higher math.
Memory and Cognition
  • Excellent long-term memory for experiences, locations, and faces.
Behavior, Health, Development and Personality
  • Extremely disorderly or compulsively orderly.
  • Had unusually early or late developmental stages (talking, crawling, walking, tying shoes).
  • Strong sense of justice; emotionally sensitive; strives for perfection.
  • Mistakes and symptoms increase dramatically with confusion, time pressure, emotional stress, or poor health.
*******
So I found out I was dyslexic. I'm not at all bothered by it. It's just a condition, not who I am. I am just surprised that it all went unnoticed for years. It explains alot of things. Really. There are all these things about me that I have and am sometimes annoyed by, but cannot help. Or mistakes I often make and can never seem to correct, or takes a while to correct or learn. Turns out it all points to one thing.

I'm glad I didn't know it earlier in my life. Otherwise I would have used it as an excuse for everything. Or if people knew about it, put a name to my quirkiness; people would treat me differently, and second-guess me, or think I have a sort of dysfunction and am not normal.

As far as I know, I'm normal, but with some malfunction that makes my brain work a little different than others'. But I eventually get there. People might think it's weird, but then again, people already think I'm weird cos of my being a little off-center. So let's not add to that thought.

Dyslexic or no, I am like any other person. I have my strengths and weaknesses. And even if dyslexia didn't hinder my other abilities, I suppose I would always be a language person, who loves books and words and thinking and analyzing and abstract ideas. And that had carried me far, cos I find that I excel in these areas, sometimes more than others. I see what others don't see and understand things deeper and faster than most. And I did well in my studies and now on my chosen career path. So maybe, I would have to thank my dyslexia for that.

So I guess what I'm saying is that, if you are dyslexic, or know somebody dyslexic, don't put them down, or treat them different or talk down to them. They are like everybody else; only that their disabilities have a specific name. If everybody was good at everything, life wouldn't be half as fun, and everybody would all be just the same. So appreciate diversity, it's why I'm not you and you are not me.

I love how one's imperfection can make them so perfect.

    Love,
    Linzy

    Craving for Smoochies

I do not have much work to do these past few weeks. And on top of that, I've been finishing the balance of last year's annual leave (it expires the end of this month), so I'm not in the working mood. Instead I've been reading random articles, fails and blogs.

This article caught my eye: Sixteen interesting facts you did not know about kissing

These being the most interesting :p

    1. An act of kissing puts 29 facial muscles in motion. In other words, kissing can be used as an effective exercise to prevent the development of wrinkles.
    13. Kissing can help women relax and ease the effects of stress.
    15. A kiss that lasts one minute can relieve your body of 26 calories.
The above are a few more reasons why I should ask for more :p

    Vampire Name

Since my team will be dressing up as vampires this Friday, I forwarded them this [link], so we'd have vampire names to go with our outfit on that day. Mine turned out like this:
Ade aje name Ash kat situ :p
The Great Archives determine you to have gone by the identity:
    Margravine of All Russia
Known in some parts of the world as:
    Lioness of The Mountain Ash
    The Great Archives Record:
A peaceful one, of tormented goodness, who lives in places of the Rowan where stakes are freshly cut.

    Honesty

Rules: Be honest no matter what.

If I tag you, you have to do one!

1.) Have you ever been asked out?
Yes, and almost always from strangers. Getting stalked in shopping complexes by guys trying to push peddle their phone numbers to me are not strange; scary though :p

2.) Where was your default picture taken?
Since I took this from FB, it was taken during Mimi's wedding in Ampang. If it's the Blogger picture, it was taken the next day after Ash and I were official, at my house in Seremban.

    3.) What's your middle name?
I don't have one. Unless you wanna count the 'binti'.

    4.) Your current relationship status?
    Happily unavailable and taken :))

5.) Does your crush like you back?
Erm, re: above, taken; so no crush.

6.) What is your current mood?
    Hungry...

7.) What color of underwear are you wearing?
    Errr.....white with blue buterflies.

8.) What color shirt are you wearing?
Not shirt, but a red dress with white flowers on them.

    9.) Missing something?
    Someone: My Sayang <3

10.) If you could go back in time and change something, what would you do?
Nothing. If I changed anything, it might jeopardize the wonderfulness of my life today :) But if I had to choose, I'd probably go back in time and rescue my cats whom I sorely miss til now.

11.) If you must be an animal for one day, what would it be?
I want to be a bird of prey cos I wanna fly, but I don't want to be gobbled up by bigger birds :p

12.) Ever had a near death experience?
Erm... I don't think I have. But I once almost drowned in a river.

13.) Something you do a lot?
Squeeze the pores on my nose...I do it so annoyingly much that the skin of nose keeps peeling.

14.) The song stuck in your head?
    'Glorious' by Natalie Imbruglia

15.) Who did you copy and paste this from?
Edwan's FB note :p Thanks, Edwan!

16.) Name someone with the same birthday as you?
    Jesus.

17.) When was the last time you cried?.
On the phone with my Encik Sedil some weeks back when I felt demotivated and dejected.

18.) Have you ever sung in front of a large audience?
Yes, a few times in front of the entire school.

19.) If you could have one super power what would it be?
Strength. So that I can go anywhere without fear.

20.) What's the first thing you notice about the opposite sex?
The eyes. But I have a thing for hands, too :p

    22.) What's your biggest secret?
    I'm not Hazlin.

    23.) Favorite color?
    Blue.

24.) Do you still watch kiddie movies or tv shows?
I do on occasion. But I prefer serious movies and tv shows.

    25.) What's on your walls?
    At the moment, nothing.

    26.) What are you?
Myself; a product of my choices, judgment and thought.

27.) Do you speak any other language?
    Malay, Whedonesque.

    28.) What's your favorite smell?
    *grin* Honestly, it's private :p

29.) Describe your life in one word.
    Worthwhile
    * curi Edwan's word, but that's exactly what was on my mind :p

30.) Have you ever kissed in the rain?
    Not--yet.

31.) What are you thinking about right now?
    Nak balik rumah and tido.

33.) What should you be doing?
Work, and also figuring out my team's costume for dress up day.

34.) Who was the last person that made you upset/angry?
People whose names I won't mention. No one tells me what to do, or can/cannot do, and these two thought they could.

35.) How often do u talk to God?
As often as my undeserving self can.

36.) Do you like working in the yard?
Not really. I probably wouldn't mind so much if I wasn't a mosquito magnet.

37.) If you could have any last name in the world, what would you want?
A last name would mean changing my father's name, thus, I would be someone else's child. So honestly, I don't want one.

38.) Do you act differently around the person you like?
Maybe. But if I'm comfortable with him, after a while, I'd be my normal self.

39.) What is your natural hair color?
    Dark brown.

40.) Who was the last person to make you cry?
I don't remember. I usually cry by my own accord, and never give the satisfaction to a person who deem that I would break to their manipulations.

    Starscope

In the Star today, my horoscope reads:

    "Capricorn:

    Your mind is on intimate
relations. There are aspects for turning these fantasies into reality but not
    yet."

I burst into a laugh when I read this. Fantasies huh? We'll see how this plays out.

In a Firefly 'verse, I would have gone a la Captain Mal Reynolds; "Huh".

    You on Me

No, I don't literally mean you on me.

    Gutterhead :p

Due to the fact that the purpose of this blog is for me to have an outlet, and not really for the purpose of people actually reading it; I doubt that there'll actually be much response to this. But I saw it posted on a friend's FB notes, and I thought it's rather cool. You might find out a little something about your friend you never knew before. So I'm just pasting this here for the fun of it. If anyone happens to come upon this entry, no worries, no pressure. I just thought it'll make a nice filler to my long spaces in between entries. But if you reply, that's fantastic :)

    *************************************************************

    1. Who are you?
    2. How long have you known me?
    3. When and how did we meet?
    4. Did you ever had a crush on me?
    5. What do you think of me?
    6. Describe me in one word.
    7. What was your first impression of me?
    8. Do you still think that way about me now?
    9. What reminds you of me?
    10. If you could give me anything what would it be?
    11. How well do you know me?
    12. When's the last time you saw me?
    13. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn't/shouldn't?
    14. Ever wished to hug/kiss me?
    15.What is my best attribute/characteristic?

    ********************************************************

If I could answer these myself, I might just. I just love these questionnaires :p

    Random Peeves

    • Yes, Facebook has become overrated now that everybody is using it. So what? I don't give a rat's hairy ass that you were among the first to discover the wonders of Facebook or whatnot. That doesn't give you privs to diss all the Malays who have recently started using Facebook to make their pathetic life more meaningful. It's a free (cyber)world that everybody can use, so let them choose what they wanna do with it. If you don't like that set of people, then make your profile private/inaccessible etc. I find it to be a useful tool for me to keep in touch with the kinda friends who love to change their phone numbers every time they blink or those who are now living in countries beyond my reach. Does that make me guilty, too, cos I use Facebook along with everyone? If only a select few used Facebook then where's the fun in that? There'll be no friends to connect with and the activities wouldn't be as fun, and there'll be no one to tag. So, stop dissing people who you think are following fads and are making you uncool. Why don't you stop living since everybody is doing it and see how that treats ya.
    • Dude, stop deluding yourself and stop calling yourself an alpha male in that self-important voice and all serious-faced cos you can't pull it off. Believe me, you're not. You're not man enough to say that. In fact, a real man won't even need to say that. You're just a boy with big words with no substance to hold yourself up. Lights on with nobody home. I'm sorry, but that doesn't impress me much. Get yourself a troll of girls who love such big talk, and leave us well alone. She says you're only as annoying when I'm around? Well, I suppose it's the only time when a girl don't fall at your feet cos you're so smart and instead challenges every word you say. Get off me and my friend, cos I don't think you can handle our minds. Oh, and while I'm at this, you got no right telling my friend what to wear and how to dress. Just cos she doesn't dress like them skanky girls you follow around in my friend's presence, doesn't make her unsexy. She's sexier being who she is, and not how you want to make her. Take her for the person she is, or leave her well alone.
    • Stop being so stuck up, girl, cos one day you're gonna realize that you're on the losing end. There's more to life than what that has to fall under your preferences and your perception. The world was made to be diversified, not just the one ideal. The world wouldn't be half as fun if it were. Don't look down on the people you don't see fit to fit into your little world. Acknowledge people for what they are and what they choose to be like or choose to like. There is no one set mould. There is no type. We are all bits and bobs that fit into one another.
    • Stop interrupting everything I say, Motormouth. I can never get a word in when you are around. You always have something better to say. You always have a better story to tell. So what? Wait your turn and let other people have a go. Don't jump in when people are mid-sentence or mid-story. It's rude and very hurtful. Stop it.
    • Not wanting to generalize, but the foreigners living in my block are terribly dirty. Not all foreigners, but a certain few from certain countries. They seem not to be in the know of the existence of things called garbage bags or trash cans and anything of the like, the things where you put the trash in. It seems so because they never know where to put their trash. They throw all manner of things out the window. Shoes, files, old books/magazines, bottles (glass and plastic), clothes, and anything else they could fling out the window litter the ground outside my window. And being on the lowest floor gives me the luxury of hearing all of that bouncing off the pavement. Oh, and the kitchen window? Well, as mentioned, I'm the one located closest to the ground, so the ledge outside the kitchen is full of old styrofoam boxes gone moldy, stale bread, food that has gone basi and all foodstuff or relating to it. And yes, I've seen the faces of the kinda people who throw them. And yes, the locals do it, too, but there is a certain level of decency to their doing so (if there can be such a thing). I don't care la, foreigner or not, whatever race; just be clean. We all wanna live comfortably, so stop being so goshdarn filthy.
    • Stop being holier than thou.
    • Please please please please please please please please please don't cancel Dollhouse. Don't do this to Joss again. Don't let another Firefly happen.
    • Something must be done about the cabbies in Cyberjaya who not only not use the meter, but charge twice the fare to head to one's destination. One cabbie who was a newbie used the meter cos he didn't know the route and I saw that the real fare to get from Cyberia to FSBM Plaza was about RM4.50. I've always known it was much lower than my normal 7 or 8 bucks but here I had the proof in plain numbers. Just cos people here are willing to fork out that much cash doesn't give them the right to charge however they like. Come on la, we don't all have a pocketful of cash.

    - My Encik Sedil; both in terms of boy friend and boyfriend :)

    94 Out of 242 Movies

Tagged by Anis. I forewarn you, I'm no movie buff and I generally find mainstream movies not to my liking (i.e. chick flicks, comedies, romance); so many on this here list are partly accidental viewings or cos I was dragged to watch it, or cos I was bored. Hence, barely half of the titles are marked with an X. Yes, I have no life when it comes to movies. Mostly cos I spend mine elsewhere. My choice of movies are eccentric at best, and hence, not easy to find.

So, yeah, I've only watched 94 outta 242.

    **************

Mark the ones you've seen. There are 242 movies on this list. Copy this list mail, go to your own Facebook account, paste this as a note. Then, put x's next to the movies you've seen, add them up, change the header adding your number, and click post at the bottom. Have fun!

Welcome to the Tame Life of Linzy

Copied from my Encik Sedil's FB note.

Yes, I've lived a very tame life. Boring, you might say... But that's what happens when your father is very very conscious of safety and constantly reminds you about it, and being the person I am who only occasionally takes risks cos I don't see the need to.

    So, out of the list:

I've done 67 out of the 132 stupid things.

    Level 1
    () Smoked A Cigarette
    () Smoked A Cigar
() Kissed A Member Of The Same Sex
    () Drank Alcohol

    SO FAR:

    Level 2

    Outrageous Fashion Victim

So we have to come in for work today as Fashion Victims...

But what is a fashion victim exactly? Someone who goes to lengths to look good, even if the fashion was inconvenient and uncomfortable but still pulls it off? Or is it someone who wants to be so fashionable but ends up none at all? Or is it a fashion that is outrageous? Say, for example, goth or punk etc? Or is it someone who mismatches everything in trying to fuse every fashion possible?

    I have no idea.

Being no fashionista myself, I've no idea what's hot or not. I like clothes, yes, but like Ash says about me, I play it safe. I wear what I feel comfortable in and what is less risky or risque. So I didn't know which ways to go.

So this is what I have on today:

Striped light blue jeans+white baby tee+pink flowery blazer+straw hat (the one that you told me to take off in Langkawi, Sayang)+bright red jelly shoes+every piece of jewelry I have with me. It sounds more outrageous than it actually is...It's quite tame, really. But I don't know how I fare in people's eyes.

Anyway, coming into the office, I noticed that hardly anyone is being outrageous. It's getting me worried. Just a handful of people are actually in some getup, including me. So I feel a little ridiculous.

But I don't know. My teammate mentioned that there will be a general assembly today, so that's when everyone will change into their outfits. So for now, everyone's on the downlow. Not sure why. Maybe it's cos they didn't wanna embarass themselves on the way to work earlier. Or maybe cos it's essentially a competition, they didn't want anyone tiru-ing their look.

Anyhow, let's see how it'll go later. Will post up pictures if I get any.

So for now, happy being Fashion Victims fellow WKESPers.

    Love,
    Hazlin

    By any other name...

    ...would smell as sweet?

Well, maybe. But might be defined in many unsavoury ways.

Yanna tagged me for this one. I'm not gonna do this on Facebook cos the sudden influx of notes with people tagging people is getting a bit much. Not that I don't like reading them; but it's just that there are so many that by the time I have the time to read the one from the last time I was online, there would be a new one in its place. Hence, best I just not let mine get lost in the crowd and just put those here wher it'd be easier for me to read and refer to. Besides, Facebook is losing its flavour with me, the clutter and the applications are getting the better of it.

    So anyway, here goes:

Go to [Urban Dictionary] and type in your answer to each question in the search box, then write the definition it gives you.

    1. Your name?

    - Lin

Obviously, the possibility of having Hazlin in their entry is very slim, so I went for the best alternative:

Usually a chinese last name belonging mainly to Taiwanese people. The name is also the first name of many chinese people and some chinese people also have this as their first name as well as last as other chinese people.

    Wow...what a smart definition Jessica123.

    2. Age?

    - 23

The greatest number of all time.

    Reasons why: It is...

    1. a prime number, as are 2 and 3.
    2. Michael Jordan's number.
    3. the NBA record for most consecutive points scored by a single player in a game, done by none other than Michael Jordan.
    4. the number of chromosomes in a human sperm or egg.
    5. the angle between the earth's magnetic and rotational axis.
    6. the Tropic of Cancer at 23 degrees N Latitude.
    7. the Tropic of Capricorn at 23 degrees S Latitude.
    8. a .com/website and the page is very cryptic.
    9. the most quoted Psalm in the bible ("The Lord is my shepherd...")
    10. the number of people executed in "A Tale of Two Cities"
    11. the smallest number of people for which there is at least a 50% chance that two will share the same birthday.
    12. the standard TCP/IP port for Telnet.
    13. one of the "Lost" numbers on the television show....also the sum of two of the other numbers (8 & 15)and the solution to 42-15-4=23, all of which are also Lost numbers.
    14. the number of times Caesar was stabbed in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar.
    15. has been prominently featured in the following: Serendipity, Futurama, Star Wars A New Hope, Monty Python The Life of Brian, Seinfeld, The Big Lebowski, The Matrix Reloaded, and Die Hard III among MANY MANY other movies.
    16. the number of flavors Dr. Pepper claims to be a blend of.
    17. the number of distinct orientations of Tetris pieces.
    18. the sum of U2, the greatest band ever. U is the 21st letter of the alphabet + 2 = 23
    19. the number of letters in the latin alphabet.
    20. the number of the Illuminati.
    21. the letter W in the english alphabet, a letter with 2 points down and 3 points up.
    22. the smallest number of integer sided boxes that tile a box such that no two boxes share a common length.
    23. the only US president to serve between nonconsecutive terms of another president (23rd president Benjamin Harrison serving between Grover Cleveland's terms).

    3.One of your friends?

    - Ash

Ok, just like my name, it's not likely I'd find definitions for my friends' names like, Ayus/Fairuz, Fidzy/Hafidzah, Aaina, Iylia...Oh, you get the picture. So I went with my (boy)friend's name, instead. Heh :p

Ok, there were too many to choose from, so I couldn't help picking out more than one.

    • Main character in the American version of the anime, Pokemon. I am guessing that Ash's mother was smoking weed when she named him. When she tried to think of a name, she looked all around, and then looked at her joint, and then Ash popped into mind. Anyway, Ash is the main character in Pokemon (except for a couple of Japanese series). His dream is to become a "Pokemon Master", whatever that is, and "Catch 'em all." How he will manage to catch all 493 Pokemon, God only knows. But for now, his signature Pokemon are Pikachu, Charizard, and Squirtle. - defined by kylezors
    • Coined by Drew Preiner, it simply means "friend".
    • Hero of the Evil Dead Series. Has a Chainsaw for his right hand and carrys a double-barrelled shotgun.
    • sexy, hot, oozing beauty, rare kind gentleman. :p

    4. What should you be doing?

    - Working

No , I'm not slacking off. It's just that my product hasn't been sent in yet by my Australian editors...so I'm waiting.

    • A term to describe the tedious and boring indentured servitude that most people are forced to endure to get money. Generally, not a pleasant experience.
    • The opposite of EA Games.

    5. Favorite colour?

    - Blue

The hue of the portion of the visible spectrum lying between green and indigo, evoked in a human observer by radiant energy with wavelengths of approximately 420 to 490 nanometers.

    6. Favorite number?

    - 7

The number that ate 9. All the other numbers are scared of him.

    7. Month of your birthday?

    - December

The month in which the hottest women are born.
    Enough said.

    8. Last person you talked to?

    - Ibu

Abbreviation of 'Ibuprofen'. Usually uttered when the speaker is too tired/lazy/hungover to complete the word.
e.g.: "Oh man, my head hurts. Pass me that ibu over there."

    9. One of your nicknames?

    - Linzy

A name initially coined by my BENdits in MCIIUM, namely Julia and Anis. At first, it was spelled Lin-Z, and later evolved to LinZ, then LinZy. Later on used by those closest to me in IIUM.

    • the awesomest hottest girl ever to live. A girly bad ass who thinks sex and love are what make the world go round. Hmmm...I'd like to test that theory.
    • a large bird shaped mammal found in fiji's lakes. They live off of peanut butter only & drink swiss brandy whilst swimming through pineapples.

    Love,

    Linzy

    A Personality Test

Something Bella did and posted on Facebook. Decided that I wanted to give it a go, too.

    Try it: http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test82.aspx

    Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward (I don't particularly agree on the result saying I'm straightforward. I pretty much avoid being straight up with a person). You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

    The seriousness of your love:

You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.

    Your views on education:

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

    The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

    How do you view success:

You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.

What are you most afraid of:

You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

    Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
